The Nike ZoomX Zegma Trail 2 now uses much the same pinnacle technology as Nikes elite race shoe the Ultrafly, minus the carbon plate, but with a slightly more robust build designed less for pure speed and more for the thrill of the trail, the Zegma makes a great cushioned daily runner as well as having the pace for race day.
ZoomX foam through the midsole has increased stack heights from the original for more lightweight cushioning, and more power over the trails.
An engineered mesh upper provides the extra strength needed for stability over uneven terrain, while an ankle gaiter helps keep debris on the outside. Overlays across the toe increase durability.
Regular Cushioning
Regular cushioning offers a blend of lightness, comfort, and ground feel. Popular for shorter distance racing as well as training and daily mileage running, the lower stack of midsole foam offers inherent stability and a lighter feel on your foot when compared to max-stack shoes.
Neutral
Neutral running shoes are designed to provide a smooth sensation without correcting your gait. They allow your natural motion to flow, while still offering a snug fit and a cushioned feel underfoot. As such, they’re ideal for runners who don’t overpronate.
